Բելգիան կարող է F-16-ներ տրամադրել Կիևին: Երկրի իշխանությունը մտադիր է իր կործանիչներց մի քանիսը մինչև 2024 թվականի վերջն ուղարկել Ուկրաինա:

Մատակարարման հստակ ժամկետներ չեն նշվել, սակայն Բելգիայի պաշտպանության նախարարը հայտնել է, որ դա պետք է հնարավորինս արագ արվի: Բելգիայի վարչապետն էլ հայտարարել է, որ F-16-ների առաքումը պետք է իրականացվի ռուսական սառեցված ակտիվների, այլ ոչ բելգիացիների հարկերի հաշվին։

Ավելի վաղ ԱՄՆ պաշտպանության նախարարը հայտարարել է, որ այս տարի F-16 ինքնաթիռներ, համապատասխան սպասարկող խումբ և դաշնակից երկրներում պատրաստված օդաչուներ կուղարկվեն Ուկրաինա:

Պենտագոնը նաև հայտարարել է, որ ամերիկյան կողմը Կիևի համար 6 միլիարդ դոլարի ռազմական տեխնիկա ձեռք կբերի: Փաթեթը ներառելու է Patriot հակաօդային պաշտպանության համակարգերի համար նախատեսված հրթիռներ և այլ զինամթերք: Լլոյդ Օսթինն ընդգծել է, որ Կիևն ավելի շատ զրահատեխնիկայի և հրետանու կարիք է զգում, նա խոստացել է անել հնարավորը՝ բավարարելու երկրի ռազմական կարիքները:

«Եթե Պուտինը հաղթի, հետևանքները կլինեն ծանր և գլոբալ: Եվրոպան կբախվի անվտանգային աննախադեպ սպառնալիքի»,- համոզմունք է հայտնել նախարարը:

Ռամշտայնի ձևաչափով հանդիպման շրջանակում Վոլոդիմիր Զելենսկին շնորհակալություն է հայտնել գործընկերներին՝ Ուկրաինային ռազմական աջակցության համար, միաժամանակ հայտարարել՝ ռուսական զանգվածային հարվածներից պաշտպանվելու համար առնվազն 7 Patriot համակարգ է պետք:
